The PoPo Fish Muruku and Indian Murukku Production Line is designed for industrial-scale manufacturing of Muruku / Bean Crisps, one of the most popular traditional snacks in India and Southeast Asia. Originating from South and West Indian cuisine, early Murukku was handmade by pressing seasoned rice flour, wheat flour, or bean flour dough into spiral shapes before deep frying in vegetable oil until crispy. Today, fish-based and bean-based muruku snacks are widely produced and distributed across India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and even the UK market. This automatic fish muruku manufacturing line integrates mixing, extrusion forming, continuous frying, and seasoning systems, enabling snack manufacturers to achieve high-capacity, stable, and export-oriented production.
The PoPo Fish Muruku and Indian Murukku Production Line utilizes bean flour or fish paste as the base ingredient, combined with customized seasoning formulations. The process begins with the Dough Extruder, which precisely shapes bean-based or fish-based dough through customized molds into spiral, flaky, plate - shaped particles, or tailored snack forms. Adjustable extrusion pressure and discharge speed ensure consistent density, defined texture, and optimal structure for subsequent frying expansion. The formed products are then conveyed directly into the core system — the FRYIN 602 E-D High Efficiency Continuous Oil Fryer. Equipped with an advanced heat exchange design and precise oil temperature control, this continuous frying system ensures uniform heat distribution, consistent crispiness, controlled oil absorption, and stable product color. The continuous frying technology significantly increases production capacity while reducing oil degradation and energy consumption, making it the central component for industrial-scale fish murukku manufacturing. 1. Dough Extruder
As a primary forming unit within the Fish Muruku Production Line, the Dough Extruder is responsible for stable dough feeding and direct extrusion into the forming head. Utilizing a direct extrusion working principle, dough is continuously supplied from a 200-liter storage hopper and pressed through a forming head equipped with cutting knives to create spiral, rope-shaped, or customized textured products. This ensures uniform size, defined structure, and consistent product density before frying. The standard production capacity reaches approximately 400 kg/hr (actual output may vary depending on product size, moisture content, and frying conditions). Powered by a 7.5 HP motor with 415V / 3 Phase / 50Hz industrial power requirements, the system supports stable continuous operation. With a machine dimension of L1650 x W1400 x H2100 mm, the extruder features stainless steel construction and sanitary piping designed for easy disassembly and cleaning. The control box includes an emergency stop function to enhance operational safety. One set of forming head is included as standard, with additional mold customization available to increase product variety and market differentiation.
2. High Capacity Continuous Oil Fryer
As the core unit of the Fish Muruku Production Line, the FRYIN 602 High Efficiency Continuous Oil Fryer is engineered for industrial continuous frying operations, ensuring uniform heat distribution, consistent crispiness, and stable product color under precisely controlled frying temperature and time conditions. The machine dimension is L6450 x W2450 x H1950 mm, with an effective frying area of L5890 x W820 x H70 mm, supporting large-scale continuous snack production. The tructure is constructed of SUS#304 stainless steel (except motors and pumps), meeting international food processing hygiene standards. The system features automatic oil level control to maintain stable oil conditions and minimize oil degradation. The lift-able conveyor hood with limit control enhances safety and maintenance convenience. A built-in CIP (Clean-in-Place) system and continuous coarse filtration system remove frying residues during operation, keeping cooking oil clean and extending its usable life to reduce operational costs. The hot oil circulation system adopts a German ALLWEILER pump for stable long-term performance, while a Japanese burner provides precise temperature control with a heat capacity of 400,000 kcal/hr. LPG fuel consumption is approximately 36.37 kg/hr (based on 11,000 kcal calorific value), ensuring both efficiency and energy economy.
The mesh conveyor is equipped with inverter speed control, allowing flexible adjustment according to product thickness and frying time requirements. The waterproof control box protects electrical components, and all motors are equipped with overload protectors for safe operation. Emergency stop buttons are installed on both sides, and a pressure switch ensures heating only activates when oil circulation is confirmed, enhancing overall operational safety. Designed for easy operation and maintenance, the FRYIN 602 serves as the critical continuous frying solution for high-capacity industrial fish murukku manufacturing.
